Darragh Kilbride

Darragh is the Managing Partner of Beacon Tax and Business Advisors and has over 20 years’ experience. Darragh provides strategic and commercially driven advisory services to allow business owners and their families to operate in a tax efficient manner.

Darragh has advised extensively on  corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, R&D tax credits and IP planning and designing estate structures for high net worth individuals. As Managing Partner, Darragh coordinates the delivery of bespoke client solutions across a team of highly experienced professionals to ensure an ongoing high quality client experience.

Darragh became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 1997 and became an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute in 1999. Darragh has served on the Executive Board for the accounting body ACCA Ireland and is also their national tax spokesperson.

​

She has written numerous tax related articles for the Sunday Business Post, Irish Times and Irish Independent. She also presents extensively on current and topical tax planning matters to accounting practices throughout Ireland on behalf of the ACCA, The Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Omni Pro and Mercia Ireland. Darragh also sits on the board of CCABI- the consultative body for all accountancy bodies in Ireland tasked with the formation and presentation of national tax policy submissions to government.

Niall O'Connor 
Tax Partner
 

Niall has over 25 years tax consulting experience, gained in top tier accounting firms, advising business owners, family companies, entrepreneurs and corporate groups. ​As a trusted business advisor, Niall works closely with his clients to develop and implement value added tax strategies to support their commercial objectives. 

​

Niall has diverse industry experience and advises clients in relation to all stages of their business life-cycle - start-up, scale-up, international expansion, exit by way of a sale or inter-generational transfer. His specialist areas include corporate reorganisations, succession planning, shareholder exits, M&A, private equity, share schemes, international tax and property transactions. He also advises foreign companies establishing operations in Ireland on Irish tax incentives.

He has significant experience in leading tax planning projects and with corporate transactions involving multi-disciplinary advisory teams. Niall presents on tax planning topics to industry groups, legal firms and international accounting networks. He is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute, a Chartered Tax Advisor and Accountant. Niall holds an MBS in Accounting and a BA in Accounting & Finance from DCU.
